Pizza Pork Chops
Serves 6
6 pork loin chops about 1-inch thick (6 ounces each)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups tomato pasta sauce
4 ounces shredded Mozzarella cheese (1 cup)
Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add pork; cook
about 5 minutes or until browned, turning once.
Place pork in 3 1/2 to 6-quart crock pot. Sprinkle onion over pork. Pour pasta
sauce over top. Cover; cook on LOW setting for 4 to 6 hours. Remove pork from
slow cooker; place on serving platter. Top with sauce. Sprinkle with cheese.
